Gimme that

Above all, do not lose your desire to walk: Every day I walk myself into a state of well-being and walk away from every illness; I have walked myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk away from it.” ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Some might say this is the Heart of my blog. In finding your strength that comes from within you can find your inner voice and lift yourself up.

It all starts there. You lift yourself first and then you can lift your family, eventually others and the world. You will sing and it will be for joy.

The simple step of walking allows you to move, to breathe, to think clearly and to look; really look at what is true within you.

Keep walking . . .

  • Walk yourself into a state of Well-Being
  • Walk away from every illness (think anger, self-pity)
  • Walk yourself into your Best thoughts
  • Walk away from burdensome thoughts

The body and the mind are so closely attached that truly “As A Man Thinketh, So Is He”. Walking away from burdensome thoughts can help you walk away from every illness. Walking towards your best thoughts lets you walk into a state of well-being.

The power of fear can lead to insidious thoughts that deteriorate the mind and in turn destroy the capability of the body. We must keep walking towards our best selves. That is the power we have over our thoughts.

When I was a kid my Dad would always say “Think Yourself Well”. (That, and “Cowboy Up”.) He wanted us to be tough and capable.

Faith may be unseen but it can be felt in the mind, in the heart and in the body. I do believe in miracles. Everything is a miracle to me. And it is faith that precedes the miracle.

Our society is becoming faithless because we are allowing ourselves to be driven by fear ~ which is the opposite of faith. Our strength should not rely on the arm of flesh but in the power of a God, and of a Savior, both of whom love us.

Hate starts in the mind, with a thought and letting it take you over ~ each to his own way with no thought toward others, allows nothing. Absolutely, nothing can happen unless we will it so. And if our thoughts and will are concentrating on the festering wound ~ people can die. They can die inside. I understand rivalry very well. We don’t call it sisterly rivalry for nothing, but we did not let it lead to hate.

So, keep yourself walking. Walk away from hate and towards kindness. Let go of what you think you know and find out what you don’t know.

All the Best!
